Welcome to Rushden Golf Club

Allow me to welcome you to Rushden Golf Club. I am very honoured to be Captain of this great club.

A visit to Rushden Golf Club will see you made very welcome, we are very active across all sections as my fellow Captains will tell you below.

Whether you enjoy social or competitive golf you will find both here at RGC, also we have some great social events at the club.

If you are new to the area, it is always a daunting coming to a new club, but we will do our best to make you welcome, during the Spring/Summer we hold 9 hole roll ups on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and some Sundays , this is a great way to meet people. We also have Team golf and enter county events including Hollingsworth, Handicap league, Scratch league, Ladies Cecil Leitch and Senior matches.

Please have a look at the other sections on the website, you can also check us on Twitter and Facebook.

Look forward to seeing you at the club sometime this year !

A very warm welcome from the Seniors section at Rushden Golf Club for the 2020 season.

Our group currently comprises over 50 active playing members, who are able to, and regularly do, play golf at whatever standard and frequency suits their needs, throughout every month of the year.

Thursday roll-up golf in no fixed format.
Friday short-courseTexas Scramble -12noon start weekly.

We have allocation of reserved, two- tee starts every Tuesday all year round from 11am

Our competitions and Roll-Ups use a wide selection of formats to maintain variation and to challenge and create fun for our players every time they play. We keep a mindset of continuous improvement and innovation for all our events, ever mindful of the risk of avoiding repetition and staleness, often evident in sports club programs.

Apart from constant determination to improve our golf and to win prizes,we pride ourselves,in particular, in maintaining a happy social group, indulging in humour and banter as often as possible, on and off the course!

It's all about enjoying the experience and community of the great game of golf in every way possible and making the most of being a member of Rushden Golf Club, at which plenty is on offer.

Members over the age of 55 are eligible and very welcome to be fully involved in our Seniors events in all categories of membership. Many in our Seniors group who have a bigger appetite to play even more golf are Full Members and enjoy access to the full weekend Club playing program as well.

So what describes your situation best?

Are you wanting a fresh challenge and to move to a new club from your present Club?

Are you living in or moving into the area and seeking the ideal new club to join?

Have you just retired and now have free time to make good use of that you always only dreamt about?

Maybe you have never been a member of a golf club before, like the idea of it but have doubts and fears about it all? - perhaps believing that your ability could be inadequate or that golf clubs are all stuffy and old fashioned with cliquey groups that are difficult to integrate into?

Whichever applies to you, you will be helped at Rushden and maybe very pleasantly surprised too!

I will be very happy to personally assist you either directly or to redirect you regarding any information you require about joining our group.

Some who have joined us have amazed themselves how much progress they achieved with their game and had never believed possible (and regularly sneak off with the prizes too!!)

We have an exciting program lined up in 2020 and I look forward to welcoming you aboard soon to join in the Seniors' fun.
